HOW TO ENTER

REGISTER YOUR ENTRY ONLINE

You need to register your entry online by uploading a digital file of your entry, even if entering a print. To register your entries go to https://nzipp.awardsplatform.com If you are a first time user, you need to register by clicking the link above and completing the register now section.

FILE PREPARATION

The following specifications are required for submitting your digital entry onto the Online Awards Platform (whether you are entering a digital or printed entry):

Format: JPEG

Image Size: 3000 pixels on the longest edge

Colour Space: Either sRGB or AdobeRGB

Resolution: 300dpi

File Size: 20MB or smaller

If you are entering an image captured on film you will still need to 𝙨𝙪𝙥𝙥𝙡𝙮 𝙖 𝙙𝙞𝙜𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙡 𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 of your final print for the online submission (which you can do either via scanning your print or taking a photograph of your print). While your physical print will be the one used by the judges during the judging process a digital version is used for the YouTube live stream or for potential use in future advertising.

ORIGINAL CAPTURE FILE REQUIREMENT

You need to supply your original capture files to NZIPP as part of your entry process for vetting purposes. Once you have submitted your entries then please send your original capture files via our dropbox transfer link below.

Place the Original Capture Files for your entries into a Folder. Simply name your folder with your Full Name. All original capture files can go into the one main folder unless you have an entry that required multiple original capture files to create. In this case please place all the original capture files for that entry together within one folder (so we know that these original capture files belong together for a single entry), and then place that folder inside your Main Folder. There is no need to upload your final jpeg entry into the dropbox folder only the original capture files are required. There are also no requirements around naming your files (apart from please name your Main Folder with your Full Name so we know whose images they belong to). Original Capture files are used for vetting images so please load them into the dropbox link as soon as you have submitted your entries. Should you add additional entries at different times you can simply send a new folder (named with your Full Name) with just the new original capture files – there is no need to resend ones you have already sent.

If you are submitting a print entry that was captured on film please supply a digital scanned version of the negative and load into the dropbox link as outlined above.
