In 2024 we will be trialling a full-package service for entrants who want to pay their entry fee and have their images printed, sent to live judging, and returned to them with one fee paid at the time of entry. 

Who is this service for? 

  • Entrants who find printing overwhelming 
  • Entrants who know nothing about printing 
  • Entrants who want a tangible product from the awards 
  • Entrants who want a hassle-free print of their work. 

How it works: 

  1. Go to the entry platform https://nzipp.awardsplatform.com/ and upload your entry; 
  2. Tick the option: I want the full package service; 
  3. Check your name and address options are correct; 
  4. Either choose to purchase a print case during entry or arrange to have your print case couriered to the printers (see info below)
  5. Sit back and wait for the live judging of the Iris Awards! 

We will be using two professional printers to undertake the work in 2024 – Rachael Smith (Rahera Creative) and Chris Helliwell (Edges Art and Framing). Both have extensive experience with Iris Awards printing requirements. 

What’s included in your full package entry fee: 

  1. Your entry fee to the awards 
  2. A professionally printed and matted image 
  3. Optional print Box add-on
  4. Delivery to the venue for live judging 
  5. Return delivery to your home address. 



Student: $125.00 per image + $10 shipping fee per entrant* 

Accredited New Zealand and Australian Members: $135.00 per image + $10 shipping fee per entrant* 

Affiliate Member, AIPA full Member, International Accredited Member and Reciprocal Organisation Member: $145.00 per image + $10 shipping fee per entrant* 

Non-member and Regional Members: $155.00 per image + $10 shipping fee per entrant* 

* $10 shipping fee is per entrant NOT per entry, so you will be charged a flat rate of $10 shipping whether you choose 1 print or multiple prints for the full package service. 



Print Cases:

Print cases are necessary in order to help protect your prints both for their delivery to the Awards in Christchurch and for their journey back home for you.

  • If you do not already own a print case you can choose to add one to the cart during the entry process. These are sturdy cardboard cases which you get to keep and can be re-used for future entries. The cost is $40NZD. These print cases can hold a maximum of 12 prints. Should you choose to use the full package service for more than 12 prints you will need to purchase an additional print case.
  • If you already own a suitable print case you can choose to send this to the printers for your prints to be delivered in. Print cases must be clearly label on the outside of the case with your name. You must also include a return address label containing your name, address and phone number inside your print case. Print cases must be delivered to the printers by 19th July 2024 at the latest. Please send your print case to:

International entrants (not including Australian) will incur additional fees to have prints sent back to their home delivery address or they can collect from the event in Christchurch if attending. 



Terms and Conditions: 

By using this service you agree to the following: 

  • Your image uploaded to the entry portal, will be sent to one of our two printers once your payment is processed. No refunds can be given for change of mind once your payment is completed, or should you decide the image needs changes after it has been submitted. 
  • Your image will be printed at a minimum of 25cm on the longest side as required by the Iris Awards print specifications. The printer will determine the final print size to best display your image. 
  • Your printer will decide on the paper choice that will best display your image as a print. 
  • You may crop your image in any orientation you like – square, portrait, landscape, round, oval etc. 
  • Only one mat opening is permitted per image using the full package service (e.g.. the mat board over your image can only have one opening so if you have an image that you’d like to have multiple openings you should not use this service). 
  • You agree that the final presentation of your image was made with skill and experience to best display your image, and that no refund will be provided should you disagree with this decision.

PRINT CASE COLLECTION AND POSTAGE: When you enter the Iris Awards, you will need to indicate your preference to collect your print case from the venue or have it couriered to your address. Courier pickup from venue on Monday 5 August 2024.
